- The warranties cover the original purchaser and the original
installation only, and are not transferable.
- Our product does not extend its normal structural warranty to flooring
used in radiant-heated sub floors: i.e. a heating system that uses
electrical mats or water filled pipes that run through the concrete or
sleeper subfloor.
- The warranties do not cover damage to the flooring which is caused by
improper or defective installation, alterations, refinishing or repairs,
poor maintenance, normal wear and tear, and exposure to moisture, heat,
water or excessive sunlight.
- We do not recommend that the timber floor be installed in a tropical
environment or regions subject to extreme temperature and humidity
variations, unless the dwelling is permanently “climate controlled”. The
average Relative Humidity range inside the dwelling should be maintained
at between 40% and 70%, and the average temperature between 18ºC - 25ºC.
The inside temperature should not exceed 35ºC.
- As our timber floor is a natural product, it will show variations in
grain and colour, it will change its hue as the wood ages and the surface
gloss fades, and it will expand and contract, which may cause small gaps
to appear between the panels. None of these natural occurrences constitute
a failure of the product.
- The warranties do not cover damage to the floor which has been caused
by events outside our control such as fire, floods, cyclones, accidents,
scratching, indentation from impact (eg: from stiletto shoes and heavy
furniture), pets and insects, and lack of routine protection and
maintenance according to the recommendations made above.
- The warranty does not cover any insect infestation once the product
has left the factory.
